The F430 Spider is one of the two versions of the F430 introduced to the market in 2004.
It was the first car in the world to feature the E-Diff, an electronic differential, and the so-called “Manettino”, derived from Formula 1 technology. This control allows the driver to select different driving modes according to their driving style and to the specific road or track conditions.
The car was equipped with a 4,308 cc engine delivering 490 hp.
The transmission was available in two versions: a 6-speed manual gearbox + reverse, fitted on only a few units, and the well-known F1 transmission, which was installed on most of the production and offered improved performance compared to previous models.
In 2008, the model underwent several upgrades involving both gearbox and engine, and the carbon-ceramic braking system—previously available only as an option—became standard equipment.
Production ended in 2009, making way for a new model.
The example presented here is in excellent condition, finished in its original Rosso Corsa color.
The interior is like new, free from any aesthetic imperfections, and enhanced by carbon fiber trims. The common issue affecting “soft-touch” finishes on Ferrari models from that period has already been resolved through a complete restoration treatment, carried out with full respect for originality.
The soft top is in excellent condition and works perfectly.
Mechanically, the car is in perfect working order, having just undergone a complete service at an authorized Ferrari workshop. The odometer currently shows approximately 32,000 km.
The car is equipped with the F1 gearbox, and the clutch wear is measured at 44% (still the original unit).
It comes with two keys and all original manuals, including the service booklet.
The car was first registered in France and has now been imported into Italy.
