The Ferrari 360 Spider is the open top version of the 360 Modena, whose production started in 2000, just a year after the Berlinetta version.
The name derives from the (rounded) displacement of 3586 cc of its legendary sounding 8-cylinder naturally aspirated engine.
It was available with manual gearbox or F1 and was equipped with an electronically folding canvas roof.
It was one of Ferrari’s greatest commercial successes: the production ended in 2004, after 16.244 units of which 6.170 were in the Spider version (1.641 with manual gearbox and 4.529 with F1 gearbox).
The car we’re pleased to offer was delivered in June 2002 to the first owner in the province of Arezzo (AR) in the wonderful Blu Pozzi livery, with blue soft top, and interiors with blue steering wheel and upper part of the dashboard, while the lower part of the same and its Daytona seats were made in cream color. A combination of rare elegance.
The car has undergone a total detailing, including restoration work on the plastics parts with the soft-touch finish, a congenital defect of the model.
Being subjected to a complete service (replacement of belts, oils and clutch), the car is mechanically perfect. It currently features Tubi Style sports exhausts, which provides the proper touch of cheeky sportsmanship.
The unit comes with the whole set of manuals, the service book, its tool kit and the original Ferrari car cover.
The car has only had two owners to date and has always been registered in Italy since new, precisely in Tuscany.
